The Escallonias are super evergreen which produce aromatic, glossy dark green leaves and pretty clusters of small bell-shaped flowers. They flower with blossoms ranging from deep crimson through various shades of pink to white. They make wonderful specimen shrubs in the mixed border and all make excellent formal or informal screening or hedging plants.
